About the LSPAA Project
The class created an outdoor organic garden that not only benefits the students at Academy Prep Center of St. Petersburg but will bolsters awareness in the surrounding community and serves to reinforce the benefits and importance of an active, healthy lifestyle. This space is much more than just a garden, it is an outdoor classroom, complete with fruit trees, herb gardens, a butterfly garden, an irrigation system, sunshades, picnic tables, and even a mobile cooking center for use in fresh meal preparation.
